The global economy is going through a profound transformation. Rising geopolitical tensions, the reconfiguration of global supply chains, and technological disruption have reshaped the conditions under which nations pursue growth and cooperation. These developments highlight the timeliness and necessity of the Vietnam-Russia Economic Forum 2026, organized by the Faculty of Political Economy, VNU University of Economics and Business, as a platform for dialogue, reflection, and forward-looking policy engagement.

This volume is structured around five thematic chapters that collectively reflect the core agenda of the Forum. Chapter 1 examines the broader economic context and historical foundations of Vietnam-Russia cooperation, providing the foundation for understanding current developments. Chapter 2 focuses on science, technology, and innovation as central drivers of endogenous growth in the new era. Chapter 3 addresses trade, finance, and the evolving mechanisms of bilateral economic cooperation. Chapter 4 explores tourism, culture, and services as channels for deepening market linkages. Finally, Chapter 5 highlights digital transformation, modern governance, and sustainable development as key pillars for future collaboration. Together, these contributions offer a coherent perspective that aligns with the overarching theme of this year’s conference: advancing sustainable growth through science, technology, and innovation in a new global context.
